culinary adventure- black pepper guacamole. by- adventureclubviral

black pepper guacamole

guacamole is a culinary outlaw. guacamole recipes (not created equal) were meant not to be followed. when preparing guacamole for a large group for example, you graciously leave out the chiles or the cayenne, mindful of the many mild palates among the masses. on the other hand, habaneros make a great substitution for jalapenos and perhaps you are making guacamole for just you and you enjoy five alarms ringing with every dip and bite. or when you are preparing guacamole, occasionally spooning a taste while stirring, you think it could use more salt even after you diligently apportioned the recommended amount. guacamole is an outlaw and a great partner for those that feel their very presence in the kitchen is a crime. it doesn’t matter when you mess up and it usually tastes good when you break the recipe rules.
if no guacamole recipes are created equal, and rarely are they followed anyway, it stands that no matter how you do it, it is always a culinary adventure.
for the culinary assignment i am sharing a my latest inspired guacamole recipe. the adventurous ingredient is black pepper essential oil. and in light of all that can be replaceable about guacamole, i have also included a couple of suggested substitutions.

black pepper guacamole recipe:

4-5 avocados, cut in chunks
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 lemon, squeezed
1 lime, squeezed
1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
fresh cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeno, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp agave nectar
1 drop black pepper essential oil or
(optional) 1 drop cilantro essential oil or
(optional) 1 drop lime essential oil

add chopped avocados to mixing bowl. gently stir in lemon and lime juice. do not mash.

stir in chopped tomatoes, green onions, jalapenos and cilantro.

add salt and agave nectar. add one drop black pepper oil or cilantro essential oil or lime essential oil (do not use more than one drop of any oil- the flavor will absolutely overpower your guacamole).
