time runs out. do with it exactly what you want and as much as you can.
this week adventureclubinteractive asks adventure seekers everywhere to really take a look at their to-do lists. to really consider what the difference is between things that need to get done and things that you want to do in your life. to really distinguish how much time in your day is spent attentive to side of needs: obligations, commitments, deadlines and expectations. to really distinguish how much time in your day is spent attentive to the side of wants: passions, pleasures, interests and hobbies.
the hobby assignment is about taking a look at what you spend your time doing. perhaps you are the adventure seeker type that is deeply dedicated to one trade, one craft, one obsession that you sit down and do religiously every day. perhaps you are the adventure seeker type that has a plethora of pursuits and mixed mediums which you delegate your time between, different every day. perhaps you realize that you are not sure exactly what the difference is between your list of to-do’s and your time is like a rubber band stretched too thin and you feel if you don’t start doing things for yourself instead of your to-do list you might snap…
whoever you are, whatever your hobbies, share them with adventureclubinteractive. following are some ideas for your submissions this weeks’ hobby assignment:
- each day document what you did in your spare time. take a photograph, write a paragraph, load a video… express your expression in whatever format- fit to post.
- if you have many hobbies, aim to document each different hobby that you enjoyed every day of the week.
- if there is something out there that you have always wanted to call your own hobby– get out there and do it! take that class, slip into those cleats, assemble your easel, sharpen your baking knives or knitting needles… seek adventure in a new thing!
- if you have no idea what you do with you time -or all you do is check things off a calendar or report to a boss- it’s time for some self-reflection. life is short. find an adventure. get a hobby.
please submit all completed assignments and contributions by sunday the 27th via email: email@example.com. we will post your masterpieces as we see fit on adventureclubinteractive and may choose you as our featured seeker!
