word art. by- amy
I have spent so much time trying to figure out the settings on my camera and how to achieve the right lighting. My kids have become my practice models. Every move they make and i am clicking away and then evaluating whether i was able to get it in focus or if i used the right aperture. When i came across this photo that i took last weekend, i remembered that photos have so much more power than whether i bring out the potential of my fancy camera. This photo will forever capture a time – albeit short lived- in my life when she is not only willing to say the words often and loudly but is also so proud to wear it across her chest. And i know that at least i will always have the pictures.

she is gorgeous. i enjoy the use of thirds in this portrait- the angle of her shoulder to the position of her body in the frame. keep pointing and shooting adventure seeker!
